Green Technology is the development and application of products, equipment and systems used to preserve the natural environment and resources, which minimize and mitigate the negative impacts of human activities on the environment. It's a lot of green technology in Indonesia such as electric cars, electric motors, and many more. One of the green technology is solar powered traffic lights. Here I will discuss about solar powered traffic lights. traffic lights with solar power is one example of the application of green technologies, because these traffic lights using the sun instead of using electricity. So they can save energy. Not only that, solar traffic lights will not die if PLN outages, so traffic will keep it running smoothly. But there are disadvantages too, when the weather is cloudy or rainy, the traffic lights will be lack of sunlight so that light can die. Traffic lights with solar power is much in use in big cities such as Yogyakarta, Surabaya and others.
